Increased Security with Two-Factor Authentication for North Online & North Mobile App Users

North are increasing security in North Online and the North mobile app by enforcing Two Factor Authentication (2FA) for all clients in November 2022, currently this is only optional. 2FA is an extra layer of security, in addition to login details (username and password) and is designed to ensure only the account holder can access their account.

This requires your mobile number to be recorded on your North Online accounts. North are writing to clients where this information is missing between 17 October to 18 November 2022

From November, when you log into North Online or downloading the North Mobile App for the first time North will send a one-time security code to your mobile device to verify identity.

For extra security, a one-time code will be sent to your mobile device as follows:-

  • Every 24 hours, if you login using your username and password;
  • When a new device is used to login to your account or;
  • If you’re unable to login with facial, fingerprint or PIN access for the mobile app.

If you have any questions or require assistance with regards to updating your North Online Account to ensure you continue to have access, please contact our office.
